Fresh off her appointment to the Board of Trustees at the Kennedy Center, Victoria Reggie Kennedy has purchased a home in the same Kalorama neighborhood where she lived with her late husband, Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., for $1.65 million.
At 3,150 square feet, the three-bedroom, three-bath residence is a scale-down for Kennedy.
Real estate broker Jim Bell told the Boston Herald the new place “is about 75 percent smaller than her current residence.”
The home previously was owned by socialite Charles Cudlip, who resides in Newport, R.I., and Palm Beach, Fla.
