Man indicted over texts to teen

A Fairfax County man has been accused of using text messages to entice a 13-year-old family friend to have sex with him.

Joshua Nabatkhorian, 52, was indicted last week in U.S. District Court in Alexandria on charges of enticement of a minor.

Authorities allege that Nabatkhorian sent sexually explicit text messages to a 13-year-old girl in November 2009. According to court documents, the girl was a family friend.

He also allegedly made arrangements to meet the girl for sex, court documents say.

Fairfax County police took Nabatkhorian into custody when he went to the arranged meeting spot — the parking lot of a local grocery store — on Nov. 17.
