The ladies of The View savaged the marriage of George and Kellyanne Conway after George Conway criticized a remark she made on Twitter.
Conway, 56, responded to his wife on Monday after she posted a video of Joe Biden discussing how children would play with his blond leg hair, adding the caption, “We need Ukraine’s help to defeat THIS guy?”
Her husband replied, “Your boss apparently thought so.”
During their Tuesday show, The View hosts condemned Conway for targeting his wife with criticisms of her boss, President Trump. Host Sunny Hostin predicted the two would split, saying, “They’re going to get a divorce.”
Her co-hosts agreed. Meghan McCain criticized the duo and said they have a “really sick” marriage. “This is a sick thing to do. You have four kids at home, and they’re going to read this someday,” she said. “The idea that me and my husband would be somehow feuding with each other over our work, I just think it’s gross. I don’t know why America has to be subjected to their marital problems.”
Joy Behar referenced the Washington Examiner report in which Kellyanne Conway bashed her husband, saying, “He gets his power through me, if you haven’t noticed.”
“I think she ticked him off,” Behar said of Kellyanne Conway’s remark. “That was an emasculating remark.”
Guest host Ronan Farrow and Behar gave the two the benefit of the doubt, guessing that they “spar in public” but get along behind closed doors. Behar added, “I think it turns them on. They love it.”
Abbie Huntsman said she was “uncomfortable” seeing the relationship play out in public because she believes George Conway “bullied” his wife. That position didn’t play well in the room. McCain replied that Kellyanne Conway “can dish it out” and Behar said the senior counselor to the president “works for the bully-in-chief.”

Conway was the first woman to successfully lead a presidential campaign to victory. George Conway is an attorney at a top Washington law firm. Kellyanne Conway has insisted on keeping their relationship out of the press, despite her husband’s outspoken Twitter feed.
Trump, who was divorced twice before marrying the first lady, has questioned the Conways’s marriage, saying, “Kellyanne is great, but she’s married to a total whack job.”
