FBI: ‘Forever Loyal Bandit’ returns, hits 6th D.C. area bank

Washington’s notorious bank robber, dubbed the “Forever Loyal Bandit,” has returned to work after a five month layoff, hitting a Falls Church, Va. Capital One Bank Saturday and warning that he was armed, according to a new FBI notice.

The agency tweeted Monday, “FBI confirms return of Forever Loyal Bandit.”

The middle-aged and “muscular” black man began his robbing spree in northern Virginia June 2014. He won his moniker because those words were printed on his T-shirt during his first two robberies.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward.
