Hillary Clinton warned State Department staff to heed the agency’s cybersecurity rules in a 2010 video to department employees, despite the fact that her emails at the time resided on an unauthorized server in the basement of her home.

“Complying with department computing policies and being alert to potential threats will help protect all of us,” Clinton said in the video, which was obtained by Fox News.

“As a State Department employee, we have a special duty to guard ourselves and our sensitive information,” she said.

The State Department’s inspector general concluded Clinton had not complied with agency record-keeping rules during her tenure. Officials in charge of communications at the time denied knowing Clinton relied on a private server to conduct all of her work-related and personal affairs.
