Stamping out hunger

The National Association of Letter Carriers is holding its annual “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive” in Arlington on Saturday. Arlington residents who want to participate are asked to leave a bag of nonperishable food at their mailbox Saturday, and the mailman will collect the food and deliver it to the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Last year, the drive — the organization’s second-largest food drive of the year — brought in 13,500 pounds of donated food. Email [email protected] or call 703-845-8486 for details.
