Twitter mocks Trump’s multiple spelling errors

President Trump’s Twitter account experienced a flurry of activity Friday afternoon when he misspelled a word, then failed to correct it the right way and had to issue a third message that finally got it right.

Trump first tweeted that he “hear by” calls for an investigation into House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for her contact with the Russian ambassador. He then corrected that to “hearby,” then changed that to “hereby” in his third tweet.

Twitter users noticed the changes to his tweet and ate it up. Some lambasted the Republican leader for tweeting about education issues during the incident.

In mid-December, Trump made another infamous spelling error. He tweeted “unpresidented,” which he had meant “unprecedented.” That issue was corrected about an hour and a half after it occurred.
