Meghan McCain has officially signed onto “The View” as a regular co-host, an announcement that comes just days after McCain left Fox News, according to a report Wednesday.
McCain will join Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Paula Faris, and Sunny Hostin in early October, according to Variety.
The daughter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., announced last week that she would be leaving Fox as a contributor and host of “Outnumbered.”
According to Variety, McCain was added to the group to offer a conservative voice. Jedediah Bila, the former conservative panelist on the “The View,” announced earlier this month that she would be departing the show.
