State of Play:
Republicans seldom have any luck in Washington State, home of Democratic Sen. Patty Murray. And so no one would have paid much attention here, except that a poll from January showed former GOP gubernatorial nominee Dino Rossi leading Murray. Rossi has not committed to a race, but he or a strong Republican candidate could give her a run for her money.
