The car was found a short time later in the 3700 block of 15th Street NE. It had heavy damage that appeared to have been caused by the car crashing into a wall, Alali said.
The carjackers, who fled, were described as three black males, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with heavy builds. The man who pointed the shotgun at the victim was wearing a puffy coat.
