Despite his best efforts, John “Free All Criminals” Fetterman can’t outrun his past

Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman has come under fire for his record of protecting murderers over citizens — and rightfully so. Yet recently, Fetterman has tried to shed this reputation, reinvent himself, and promote himself as tough on crime. Pennsylvanians shouldn’t believe the facade. In addition to his penchant for freeing murderers and enthusiasm for “emptying the jails,” Fetterman is also an ardent supporter of left-wing, radical Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, the official whose policies have led to a record number of murders and violent crime.

OZ CLOSES IN ON FETTERMAN IN NEW POLL

Since Krasner was elected in 2017, violent crimes have steadily risen each year he has been in office. In 2020, the city missed a homicide record by one death. In 2021, violent crime exploded, and the city set a new record for murder in its over two-century history. Crime has become so out of control that all of the city’s leaders have reached their wit’s end trying to restore order.

Yet, despite Krasner’s horrific record, he has earned high praise from none other than John “Free All Criminals” Fetterman. In May 2021, Fetterman tweeted how much he appreciated Larry Krasner.

“In every case for clemency (like Dennis + Lee Horton) from Philadelphia [Larry Krasner] stepped up + supported us,” Fetterman tweeted. “I’m returning that support + endorsing him + the truly groundbreaking work with the Conviction Integrity Unit, so his crucial CJ reforms can continue.”

It should be noted that Fetterman tweeted about the “crucial CJ reforms” in the middle of a year in which Philadelphia would set a record high for homicides. It wasn’t too long after this tweet that a criminal showed just how dangerous the CIU could be. While it was advertised to give criminals second chances, it has led to innocent people being murdered again — murdered by people who were part of the group Fetterman praised, the CIU.

And, as is so often the case with Krasner, and ultimately Fetterman, another criminal has shown the dangers that people such as Fetterman and Krasner pose to society. They care more about granting murderers second chances than safeguarding the innocent people in their communities. Jahmir Harris is the latest example. He is a convicted murderer who was released in 2021 due to the city’s recent criminal justice reforms. To the surprise of no one with common sense, Harris was arrested less than a year later for allegedly murdering someone else.

“John Fetterman praised Larry Krasner and his Conviction Integrity Unit, saying this type of organization is needed in every county in Pennsylvania. Now, this group and John Fetterman are responsible for releasing a convicted murderer who is wanted in yet another tragic murder. When will this senseless violence stop?” asked Brittany Yanick, communications director for the campaign of Mehmet Oz, Fetterman’s opponent in the Pennsylvania Senate race.

The CIU’s actions directly led to the death of another human being. It’s indicative of just how dangerous left-wing politicians like “Free all Criminals” Fetterman truly are in the civilized world. Their policies continue to harm innocent people, and the leaders that made these awful decisions never suffer any accountability for their ill-conceived ideas.

The CIU is disastrous and just another example of the criminal dystopia our country would become if Fetterman won the election. At some point, Pennsylvania’s Democratic voters and those independents who haven’t committed to a choice must ask themselves, “How many more people must be murdered before they decide not to support a candidate who embraces putting criminals out of jail and back on the street?”
