An Arlington chiropractor who treated members of the Washington Capitals hockey team pleaded guilty in Florida to misdemeanor charges of attempted steroid possession.

Douglas Nagel, 50, was placed on three years probation and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service. Nagel’s office sat several floors below the Capitals’ offices and practice facility at the Ballston Common Mall in Arlington. Several Capitals players conceded to getting chiropractic treatment from Nagel but denied getting steroids from him.
