NEW YORK (AP) — Procter & Gamble Co. said Friday that it is buying the other half of its joint venture in Spain from The Agrolimen Group for $1 billion as it seeks to expand its feminine care and baby care categories there.
The joint venture, which began in 1989, is called Arbora & Ausonia. It sells absorbent consumer products like sanitary pads, tampons and diapers. The Agrolimen Group exercised its option to sell its 50 percent stake to P&G, the company said.
