Killer whale hurt at San Diego’s SeaWorld show

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A killer whale at San Diego’s SeaWorld is recovering after he was injured during a night performance.

SeaWorld says 11-year-old Nakai was treated for a lower jaw injury that he suffered last week when he came into contact with the pool.

A statement doesn’t detail what happened. It does say the whale is receiving antibiotics, swims comfortably and is interacting with other whales at the park.
