Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton was loudly booed Thursday evening during a live town hall forum on MSNBC when she argued that her opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, “wasn’t really a Democrat before he decided to run for president.”
The remark came when Clinton criticized Sanders for calling President Obama “weak” and “disappointing.”

“I just don’t know where all this comes from,” she said of her opponent’s criticism. “Maybe it’s because Sanders wasn’t really a Democrat before he decided to run for president. He doesn’t know what the last two Democratic presidents did.”
While some cheered, Sanders supporters in the audience responded by booing the former secretary of state.
“Well, it’s true. It’s true. You know it happens to be true,” she shot back.
