The Montgomery County Humane Society has its annual gala Saturday night: The Love Ball at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda.
Hundreds of animal lovers will attend the gala, which includes a cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, auction, awards program, dancing and a doggie bar. That’s right, dogs are welcome guests.

The Humane Society provides shelter and care to thousands of homeless animals each year.
