On Tuesday, you have the chance to do both in Old Town Alexandria. Colombia’s Armada Republica de Colombia, or La Gloria, will host a free embarking at 12:15 p.m. at Chart House Pier, 1 Cameron St. for its 2011 cruise. La Gloria will then dock at 3 p.m. at 2 Duke St. and take on visitors. La Gloria was greeted by 1,500 enthusiasts during her 2007 visit to Washington, during which its 170 crew members wore Colombian colors and sang their national songs. ??– Natalie Plumb
