Wanna get away?

Tim Kaine has.

The Democratic National Committee Chairman and former Virginia governor, who is being urged to run by Virginia Democrats of all stripes for retiring U.S. Sen. Jim Webb’s seat, is on vacation until Monday.

The Associated Press, citing sources close to Kaine, writes that he’s using the time to finalize a decision on a run and that he’s likely to announce his intentions soon after his return.

On the Democratic side, other potential candidates include former U.S. Reps. Tom Perriello and Rick Boucher and current Reps. Gerry Connolly and Bobby Scott.

Among GOPers, former Sen. George Allen, Tea Partier Jamie Radtke, and Hampton Roads lawyer David McCormick have officially announced they’re running.
