A Democratic congressional candidate suggested skeptics of global warming should kill themselves. In a televised Montana House debate, Rob Quist told “climate change deniers” that they are out of touch with reality and need to suffocate themselves in order to “see what happens.”
“To me this a cumulative thing, you cannot just say closing one plant or not is going to make a difference,” he said. “This is something that the entire world needs to address and you know what, if any of you that feel like this is not a problem, I challenge you to go into your car in your garage, start your car and see what happens there.”
Also a singer, Quist made headlines regularly for performing at a nudist resort with his daughter. He will campaign with Senator Bernie Sanders for the May 25 special election, where he is running for the lone seat in the House from Montana.
