National Cherry Blossom Festival organizers have rescheduled the Blossom Kite Festival, which was postponed due to potential snow last weekend.
Rather than kicking it off, the kite festival will wrap up cherry blossom events on April 10 on the Washington Monument grounds. The event will include a kite flying competition, various kite-flying demonstrations, a kite display area and activity tents.
All attendees are encouraged to fly a kite. Events run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are free to the public.
