Perhaps the sight of Joe Biden cruising in the thick of a revamped, presidential motorcade fleet of Corvettes is palatable, if not plausible, to Democrats.
After all, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is getting the media vetting she’s due — particularly via the Washington Free Beacon — and there remains the possibility that she won’t re-up for a second presidential candidacy. If she doesn’t, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz isn’t worried.

“We have a vice president of the United States, certainly, who could be a standard-bearer,” Wasserman Schultz said in a C-SPAN interview set to air Sunday, USA Today reported. She also named a quartet of current or former governors: Martin O’Malley (Md.), Deval Patrick (Mass.), Andrew Cuomo (N.Y.) and Mark Warner (Va.).
