The Senate’s top advocate for ending illegal immigration is urging House Republicans to consider a new speaker who will advocate conservative GOP positions, including immigration reform.

“I’d like the speaker to be engaged in presenting the moral and legal case for many of the ideas that we Republicans believe in,” said Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions.
