UTICA, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities in central New York say a second person may have opened fire during an attack that left five people wounded outside a nightclub this weekend.

Police tell the Utica Observer-Dispatch (http://goo.gl/4JRVYP ) that investigators are checking surveillance camera footage from the neighborhood around Level Bar and Lounge to determine if someone besides a suspect wounded by a city police officer was involved in the shooting early Saturday morning.

Authorities say several of the first four men injured are believed to be linked to earlier shootings and killings. They were in a large crowd outside the bar when they were shot. Two remained hospitalized Monday along with the suspect, who was in critical condition and had not been charged.

He was shot by an officer who witnessed the attack.
