Montgomery County Police said they have found a body that they believe to be that of the 11-year-old boy whose mother was found slain in her Germantown home last week.

At about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, search crews found body of a young African-American boy in a wooded area off Route 121, about a quarter-mile west of Route 355 in Clarksburg.

Capt. Paul Starks said that police believe it is the body of 11-year-old William McQuain and are sending it to the medical examiner’s office to confirm the identity and determine the manner and cause of death.
