Alcohol may have played role
in crash that killed toddler
Alcohol, speed and a wet road may have been factors in the single-car crash that killed a 2-year-old girl Wednesday night in the Landover area, Prince George’s police said.
About 7:30 p.m., the Chrysler sedan lost control, hit a tree and split in two. The girl, Kimyra Brown, was thrown from the vehicle. The mother stumbled from the wreckage, repeatedly asking for her child. Kimyra was found in the woods nearby. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
