Sesame Street Workshop and National Children’s Museum partner

Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

Yes, we can.  On Wednesday, the National Children’s Museum announced a partnership with the Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind the show, Sesame Street.  From now on, the NCM will provide a home to the workshop here in the Nation’s Capital. Sesame Street will be integrated into different exhibits, books and other educational segments throughout the museum’s gallery and programming.  The two organizations will also work together on developing content and exhibits.

Set to open in 2013 at the National Harbor, the National Children’s Museum will be the area’s premier family-centered attraction.  Both organizations have been committed to the educational development of children for over forty years.  “We look forward to collaborating on what we believe is going to be a very compelling and exciting family destination and are happy for NCM to be Sesame Street’s new home,” said Sesame Workshop President and CEO, Gary E. Knell. Looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
