Wal-Mart, one of the largest retailers in the world, announced that it would be donating more than $3.7 million to benefit communities in Maryland.
Besides that large donation, the company is also awarding more than $115 million total in individual contributions through company-sponsored fundraisers. Of this money, Maryland residents can expect to see more than $1 million improve their neighborhoods.
