A horse that was stabbed in Fairfax County in April was slashed again this past weekend, police said.
Authorities believe the latest attack on the horse, named Lucinda, occurred near Frying Pan Farm Park between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The horse suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Lucinda was one of three horses stabbed on April 26. Two goats, a calf and a chicken were cut at the park in late May. A 17-year-old Herndon-area boy was charged in connection with the previous attacks, but he was still incarcerated at the Juvenile Detention Center at the time of the weekend attack, police said.
