President Trump’s chief fundraiser brought her fiery punch to the first night of the Republican National Convention, warning people, “Don’t count on the Democrats.”
While many first-night speakers brought a solemn approach, Guilfoyle rocked the stage with her trademark enthusiasm for Trump and condemnation for the Democratic ticket.
“Do you support the ‘cancel culture?’ The cosmopolitan elites of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Joe Biden who blame America first? Do you think America is to blame?” said Guilfoyle, the chairwoman of the finance committee for the Trump Victory Committee.
“Or, do you believe in American greatness, believe in yourself, in President Trump, in individual and personal responsibility?” she asked.

While many of the speakers told personal stories of their lives under Trump, Guilfoyle took the pit bull approach, warning that Biden and his running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris, will reverse the achievements of the Trump administration.
“They want to enslave you to the weak, dependent, liberal, victim ideology to the point that you will not recognize this country or yourself,” she said. “Don’t let the Democrats take you for granted. Don’t let them step on you. Don’t let them destroy your families, your lives, and your future. Don’t let them kill future generations because they told you and brainwashed you and fed you lies that you weren’t good enough.”
Guilfoyle has led the historic fundraising by the campaign and has busted records with the Republican National Committee. With the RNC, she worked to raise $165 million in July, outraising the Democrat’s haul of $140 million.
She took the stage just ahead of her partner, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, who also spoke with enthusiasm, just not at her level.
Guilfoyle pointed to troubling changes in her home state of California, which has long been under Democratic control, as a model for a Biden-Harris administration.
“It is a place of immense wealth, immeasurable innovation, and immaculate environment, and the Democrats turned it into a land of discarded heroin needles in parks, riots in streets, and blackouts in homes,” she said.
