Donald Trump Jr. mocks Brett Kavanaugh accuser, Democrats

Donald Trump Jr. mocked the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct and Democrats, posting a fake letter written in crayon to social media that he claimed Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., had been saving since July to turn over to the FBI.

President Trump’s son posted a photo of a letter on Instagram that read: “Hi Cindy will you be my girlfreind,” with boxes next to an option that read “yes” and another that said “no.”

“Love Bret,” the letter concluded.

Trump Jr. joked that it was the confidential letter sent to the Democratic senator by Christine Blasey Ford, who alleges Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her decades ago when they were in high school. Kavanaugh denies the allegations.

“Oh boy… the Dems and their usual nonsense games really have him on the ropes now. Finestein [sic] had the letter in July and saved it for the eve of his vote… honorable as always. I believe this is a copy for full transparency,” he captioned the photo.

Ford told the Washington Post she hadn’t told anyone of the incident until 2012 when she was in therapy with her husband.

In July, when Kavanaugh was on a shortlist to be nominated to the Supreme Court, Ford contacted her congresswoman in California, Rep. Anna Eshoo. Weeks later, she sent a letter via Eshoo’s office to Feinstein, in which she described the alleged incident and asked that it be kept confidential.

Last week, Feinstein released a statement saying she had “received information” on Kavanaugh that she referred to federal authorities.
