Former President George W. Bush refuses “to undermine” his successor, despite the ideological differences that have prompted President Obama to attack Bush throughout his White House tenure.

“I don’t think it’s good, frankly, for our country to undermine the president and I don’t intend to do so,” Bush said this morning in New York. “But I do intend to remain involved in areas that I’m interested in.”
