A German reporter who was reported missing from his Bethesda home in late May has been found dead in Pennsylvania.
Montgomery County police said that Pennsylvania authorities found the body of 53-year-old Joachim Rogge in Lycoming County, a rural area in the central part of the state.
Foul play is not suspected, police said. A cause of death was not released.
Rogge, who worked for the German media company WAZ Mediengruppe, was last seen in Maryland on May 29. Authorities said it was uncharacteristic for him to not be in contact with family members or co-workers.
A Pennsylvania State Police official told the Associated Press that a state Department of Transportation worker alerted police to the body, which was recovered from a wooded area.
Rogge left his home after a domestic dispute, the Baltimore Sun reported last week.
