“Jimmy Kimmel Live’s” latest edition of celebrities reading mean tweets featured a host — er, a ton of hosts — of ESPN’s college football coverage in advance of Monday night’s national championship game.
The play-by-play broadcasting duo of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit participated, as did analysts Lou Holtz and Lee Corso, coaching veterans who have become something like cult figures in sports broadcasting. Corso, ever the cut-up, had this to say, reading a mean tweet:
” ‘Lee Corso looks like a puppet from that Crank Yankers show.’ Who the hell’s Crank Yankers?”
