CNN’s Jake Tapper is a reporter in real life, but now he plays one on TV. On Monday, August 12, Tapper will appear in an episode of the soap opera “All My Children.” He will play Spencer Phillips, a reporter from the fictional Business News Update. Tapper was also on set to do a story about “All My Children” for his CNN show “The Lead.”
“All My Children” was canceled by ABC back in April 2011, but then was resurrected on the internet by the production company Prospect Park in late April of this year. (Longtime star Susan Lucci is currently not on the series.) New episodes can be downloaded on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes.
