Giuliana, Bill have a baby on the way

After a much-publicized battle with infertility, Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill are finally expecting a baby.

According to People magazine, the “E! News” host and “Fashion Police” co-host, 37, announced in person Monday on the “Today” show that she has a baby coming in late summer via gestational surrogate (meaning G and B are the genetic parents of the baby).

“We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered,” Giuliana tells E! News. Bill, 40, added “We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey.”

Giuliana has had many struggles in the past few years that she has made public, including her difficulty becoming pregnant, a miscarriage, a breast cancer diagnosis and her double mastectomy.

The couple said their surrogate lives out of state but they accompany her on all the visits to the doctor. They do know the sex of the baby but are choosing to keep it a secret.

Giuliana’s and Bill’s lives have been so public mostly because of their Style Network reality show, “Giuliana & Bill.” So we fully expect their new baby to be a recurring cast member in upcoming seasons.

Katy + the Machine

Katy Perry has been linked to a few guys since announcing the split with her future ex-husband Russell Brand, but none has stuck.

This week at Coachella, the pop star was spotted kissing and cuddling Robert Ackroyd, a guitarist for the English indie-pop band Florence + the Machine.

According to People, the singer has been partying hard at this year’s rock festival in Indio, Calif.

And she was all smiles as she danced with Robert. She was spotted hugging, holding hands and kissing in the audience.

Lindsay set to play Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime movie

Looks like it’s time for Lindsay Lohan to update her resume.

The troubled starlet has landed what is likely her dream role, playing her idol, Elizabeth Taylor.

But this film isn’t for the silver screen. She’ll be playing Liz in the Lifetime movie “Liz and Dick.”

Larry Thompson, the film’s executive producer told E! News that Lindsay’s “perfect” for the part.

“We have wanted Lindsay from day one,” Larry said. “She had a lot in her life that was going on. We needed to give her time to take care of her business … and wonderfully she has behaved. ”

Good luck Lindsay. Or better yet, good luck Lifetime. We have a feeling you’re going to need it.
