Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell indicated Friday he agrees with President Trump that so-called “Dreamers,” or people brought to the U.S. illegally as children, should not face deportation.

“I’m very sympathetic with these situations, with these young people who were brought here at a tender age, who grew up here,” McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters Friday. “And I’m anxious to see what the president decides to do.”
