TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Former Gov. Jeb Bush says in a new television ad he’s supporting incumbent Gov. Rick Scott because he delivers “results.”
The Republican Party of Florida plans to start airing the ad on Wednesday. Scott’s campaign said that ad will be airing in all media markets throughout the state.
Bush, a popular GOP governor who served two terms, says he is supporting Scott over other politicians who seek higher office because of “personal ambition.” Bush does not mention former Gov. Charlie Crist in the ad but it features images of Crist at one point.
Bush touts employment gains under Scott.
Bush, a resident of Miami, is considered a potential candidate for president in 2016. He endorsed Scott for re-election late last year.
