You can count Lawrence O’Donnell among the New Yorkers who won’t be voting for Anthony Weiner in NYC’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday.
On his show “The Last Word” Monday evening, the MSNBC host brought on the disgraced Congressman for a psych evaluation camouflaged as an interview. The result was an epic showdown between the two men that ended with Weiner shouting at O’Donnell that “nobody watches the show.”
“I have really just one basic question that I have for you that I think a lot of people have wondered about for different reasons over the course of the campaign. For me it just comes down to this, which is: What is wrong with you?” O’Donnell asked Weiner straight out of the gate.
The ‘interview’ goes downhill from there and never recovers.
