Alexandria has finished repaving King Street, city spokesman Tony Castrilli confirmed.
The project was an ongoing inconvenience for drivers on the two-lane drag through popular Old Town.
Crews began repairing the road June 5, working 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, fixing curbs, gutters and resurfacing asphalt. They finished it Thursday.
