A Transportation Security Administration employee is accused of displaying his badge and sexually assaulting a woman near his Manassas home.
Prince William County police said a 37-year-old woman reported that an unknown man approached her on the 10500 block of Winfield Loop at about 3:25 a.m. Sunday, showed her a badge, then sexually assaulted her. The man then fled on foot.
Officers canvassed the area and arrested 52-year-old Harold Rodman, who matched the victim’s description of her attacker, when he left his home on the block, police said.
Police said Rodman works for the TSA and was wearing his uniform during the assault.
He is charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy and abduction with intent to defile.
