Party on Wayne.
The vintage 1976 blue AMC Pacer, which graced the big screen in the 1992 comedy Wayne’s World, was auctioned off for $71,500 Wednesday.
Nicknamed “The Mirthmobile,” the car was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale event, and the amount set the new price record for the vehicle’s model, according to a report.

A second 1976 Pacer also sold for $34,100.
The iconic movie car had previously sold for $37,400 in 2016 after Rick Harrison of the TV show Pawn Stars fully restored it, the report noted.

The car may be best remembered for the scene in the 1992 film when Wayne, Garth, and the gang rock out to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Three decades later, the car still sports its iconic flame decals, cup dispenser, ceiling-mounted licorice dispenser, and mismatching wheels, according to the report.
