President Trump is heading to Wisconsin next week for a campaign event amid a coronavirus outbreak that is forcing cancellations of events across the country.
Trump’s reelection campaign announced the president will launch a “Catholics for Trump” coalition in Milwaukee on Thursday.

The announcement was made shortly after Trump’s Democratic rivals canceled their own rallies planned for Tuesday when several states held primaries. Former Vice President Joe Biden and independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders both scrapped their primary night events in Cleveland.
Biden also canceled events in Florida scheduled for later this week.
“We will continue to consult with public health officials and public health guidance and make announcements about future events in the coming days,” Biden spokeswoman Kate Bedingfield said.
Sanders’s spokesman Mike Casca said all future events would be “evaluated on a case-by-case basis.”
On Tuesday, Vice President Mike Pence said Trump will continue shaking hands with people despite the spread of coronavirus.
Three cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Wisconsin as of Tuesday night.
