The female bank robber featured on Tuesday’s Crime & Punishment page in The Examiner has struck for a third time in less than two weeks, Fairfax County police said. This time the woman entered a BB&T bank in Centreville wearing a black and white scarf around her face. She passed a note implying that she had a weapon, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. She was described as being about 5 feet 4 inches tall and heavyset. She wore a black shirt and pants, and a black and white checkered scarf around her face.
