Jeb! campaign slogan fails terribly on the Internet

Poor Jeb! The exclamation point doesn’t merely serve as a play on his campaign logo of “Jeb!” The campaign’s latest slogan of “Jeb Can Fix It” has turned on the candidate to severely mock him.

Most of the tweets using #JebCanFixIt do so to mock Jeb. One in particular makes note of the lack of actual tweets to use the hashtag as expected. Others suggest that it refers to fixing elections, including the 2000 presidential race.

The fail is also trending on Facebook and media outlets of all slants have covered it. Some have even covered it multiple times. Fox has mentioned it on Fox Nation, Fox Business and Fox News Latino. The Washington Post has posted about it multiple times as well.

Outlets such as BreitbartUproxx, and the Los Angeles Times have put together compilations of the best tweets mocking the slogan.

In an odd twist to the failed situation, both JebCanFixIt.com and JebCanFixIt.org have been bought already.

Jeb may have once been considered a front-runner, but he has slipped in the polls. Gov. Bobby Jindal, who has not polled high enough nationally to make it into any of the primetime debates so far, is actually polling slightly better than Jeb in Iowa according to the latest Public Policy Polling report.

Nationally, Jeb is in fifth place. The latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll placed him behind Carson, Trump, Rubio and Cruz. While he has 8 percent, he is the leader of the candidates polling in single digits. All the rest place with less than 3 percent.

Jeb may find some solace in a fresh take from the New York Daily News. On Tuesday they put together a list of nine campaign slogans that were worse than Jeb’s latest.
