Rochester’s Eastman Business Park hosting summit

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A former assistant U.S. Secretary of Labor during the administration of President George W. Bush is the keynote speaker at a manufacturing summit being held in Rochester.

Wednesday’s gathering at Eastman Business Park is being hosted by the Eastman Kodak Co. and the Innovation Accelerator Initiative of the National Science Foundation.

The discussions will focus on the role the business park will play in bringing advanced manufacturing and next-generation technological innovation back to Rochester.

Former George W. Bush administration official Emily DeRocco is the keynote speaker. DeRocco is former president of The Manufacturing Institute and a senior vice president of the National Association of Manufacturers.
