A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County on Tuesday morning, police said.
About 11:40 a.m., police were called to southbound Connecticut Avenue near Irving Street, just north of the Maryland-District border. A passenger vehicle left the roadway on the right hand side and struck a tree, police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks said.
