Former FBI Director James Comey teased his first interview in the coming days preceding the release of his tell-all memoir.
In his first tweet in a week, Comey shared a photo of the set-up that will be his first television interview since being fired by President Trump last spring.

“Not how my house normally looks. One chair for George, one for me,” Comey tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos secured the first interview Comey will give ahead of his book release. The interview is set to air in a prime-time special on April 15.
Comey’s book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies & Leadership,” will hit bookshelves on April 17. Previously the release date was May 1, but it was moved up in February because the FBI was “under intense scrutiny,” according to publisher Flatiron Books.
Along with a number of follow-up TV interviews, Comey also has a nationwide book tour lined up, during which he is expected to open up about the time her served in the FBI.
Beyond the occasional tweet in which he has defended an embattled FBI from Trump’s criticisms, Comey has largely kept out of the public eye while wrapping up his book.
He responded directly to Trump last month, after the president celebrated former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s ouster as a “great day for democracy.” Comey issued a stern warning: “Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.”
