Suspect remains at large in MontCo murder case

A suspect in a Montgomery County homicide case remains at large, a year after the slaying and as two other men are slated to face trial next month on first-degree murder charges. Julian Kelly, 27, was gunned down in the Briggs Chaney area on Aug. 21, 2010, as a group assaulted him.

Two people, 19-year-old Shamire Moore and 23-year-old Charles Baxter, are scheduled to go to trial on Sept. 26.

But police say 18-year-old Tyshon Lateek Jones, a member of the “38 MOB” street gang, remains at large. Authorities issued a new poster and photo of him last week in an attempt to solicit leads.

Tipsters can send information to 866-411-8477 and are eligible for a $5,000 reward.
