MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality is opening a new Upper Peninsula district office in Marquette.
DEQ Director Dan Wyant will attend a ceremony Friday at the office with the city’s mayor. It’s part of Wyant’s three-day tour of the U.P. starting Wednesday.
