Colbert did a little victory-dance for the Republicans on Wednesday.
“They won everything,” Colbert exclaimed, “The Senate majority, the bigger House majority, tight governors’ races, and a giraffe from one of those claw machines.”

He also got in a dig at this election’s notoriously dramatic Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraising emails: “I don’t know why Democrats didn’t turn out to vote yesterday, what with all the inspiring fundraising emails the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee sent out like ‘All Hope Is Lost.'”
And while Colbert tried his best to be humble about all these wins, in the end he couldn’t resist a balloon drop and some celebratory dancing:
